Central WI Seed was a startup company in 2020 and focuses on natural managed (non GMO) seed genetics and organic seed conditioning for a variety of agricultural purposes. When we first met with CWS, they were using MS Office documents such as Word and Excel to keep track of everything they were doing. Everything was stored in 3 ring binders in their office but then remote users could not access this information. They tried to share information online with remote users and found this approach caused confusion and loss of important data they needed to be reported to officials. The Sales Team at CWS didn’t have any way to see accurate inventory levels when interacting with Customers. This created the need for a constant flow of calls into their office asking repeated questions about inventory.

Central WI Seed chose Proceed ERP Software as solution primarily because it contained unique seed data fields that they needed, the software could track Lot numbers and inventory levels at multiple warehouses and the information stored in the database could automatically create seed product labels.  

Proceed ERP Software also helped CWS establish processes in the company. Everyone had easy remote access to the information they needed allowing them to make better business decisions and collaborate on established processes within the company. During their busy sales season, the software helped them establish a normal workflow and helped them get customized seed products out to their Customer as a Team.
